I know this guy who was a junior to me and reporting to me in India. I resigned and moved with another company and later moved to US. After an year I joined the same company which I was working in India. Now this guy, just because having some relation with the VP made some arrangement and came to US on L1 and applied under EB1 and got his GC in 1.5 years. More over he was no good as manager and a pathetic programmer. Also he did no good to the company actually lost a few clients and when he got his ass on fire he moved to other company and started working as a pathetic programmer with his GC
When I saw this I was so irritated and now thinking what the FUCK this Grassely is doing for this.I think neither we doing anything. He just wants votes by creating sensation among the white rednecks for the next election.

I am currently working as a Programmer Analyst on EB3 and Using my EAD through 485.
I plan to convert to a new postition that of Senior Applications Developer in the same company where the job duties will be atleast 50% different from my existing position
But here is the problem If i am using my EAd obtained from Eb3 program Analyst position then can I work on another position which is 50% different from my existing position as per AC21 rules

I have a few questions of guru's on this forum.
What made USCIS change the rules of spill over from EB3 to EB2. We all know that rules changed in 2007 but I am not sure what prompted USCIS to make the change was it AILA or IV or just internal USCIS review?
The reason I ask this question is when I was looking at the EB3 thread there were lots of people especially with PD between 2001 & 2004 who feel they can start a campaign to revert this spill over decision to pre 2007 criteria. I am neither opposing them nor supporting them but I want to understand the reasons the changes were made.
At this moment I feel their appeal is more at emotional level rather than having a sound resoning. Its like we are waiting since 8 years so please assign us these spillover numbers. But I do not feel that will cut ice with CIS. We need to work for visa recapture but till this spilover thing is put to rest no one will concentrate on recapture

One way to know the truth will be..
Inform immigration law enforcement authorities about next Amway meeting place and tell them that H1B visa holders are doing illegal work... I am sure we will have some extra visa numbers

I don't think so. 7% limit has been there for a very long time. Unused visas from prior years for ac21 purposes were still subject to 7% in current year. The 7% rule was unchanged.

I cannot believe there are 9 pages (and counting) worth of sentiments, because some lame talentless guy was subject to security checks at an International Airport. I'm someone who was born India, but never lived there - however I'd think there are incredibly talented Indians here in America and worldwide compared to someone who's used to blatant exploitation / sell out of Indian culture. Guys.. can one of you please suggest a good Canadian PR processing company? I keep getting mails from cr@protechimmigration.com. Is Protech good?

DO NOT go through any of these agencies. they just put additional delays in your PR processing. I got my Canadian PR in 14 months without any professional help.
On an average, they will charge $3000 and cause an additional delay of 3-6 months in your case
And they are not 'PR Processing' companies. They just forward your application to the CIC.
